All programs attract a registration fee of U$ 149,00 on top of the program fee. World’s most affordable registration fee.

Volunteers pay the program fee directly to the host country. Therefore, you can be sure your money will be used to help the community you choose.

Extra costs are the costs to prepare for your trip and leisure activities when in the country.

What does the registration fee cover?

Marketing costs, pre-placement support from our staff, a complete country information guide, volunteer training booklet, detailed information about the program, administration costs, travel to run inspection visits, communication costs, and office staff.

We try to keep our office costs and overheads as low as possible to ensure we make international volunteering very affordable so more people can travel to lend a hand.

What is included in the program fee?

Airport pickup (most locations), orientation, accommodation, meals are included in most of the programs (please check the description of your chosen program), support from the office staff, program supervision, in-country 24/7 support throughout your program, in-country administration costs and donation to support your local projects.

The program fee is always depending on the services included as well the type of accommodation. You may find cheaper programs than us in some countries, but we all know that cheaper doesn’t always mean better/ happier travelers. We understand that a trip is like a dream and you can be sure that we will go the “extra mile” to exceed your expectations.

The program fee should be paid to the host country up to 30 days before the program start date.

What other costs will I have?

Flights, visas (if necessary), vaccinations (if required), travel insurance (mandatory), criminal background check (required in some countries), meals (if not included in your destination), transfer back to the airport after the program, language lessons (optional), other optional activities, and excursions and/or tours.

Brazil

Volunteers staying during the New Years period are required to pay a surcharge of U$ 100 to cover accommodation premium prices from Dec 29 to January 2nd.

Carnaval in 2020 is from February 21st to 29th. If your chosen duration includes the Carnaval week there is a surcharge of U$ 200 to cover accommodation premium prices during this period.
All projects will be closed during the Carnaval.

Costa Rica

Special fee for volunteers staying 8 weeks or more!

These volunteers will also be helping the project as interns. They stay the first week in a homestay and then from the second week to the end of the program they stay in the project “Station”, a big wooden house near the beach. At the Station, they get one meal per day (lunch) but can use the kitchen to prepare breakfast and dinner and may also use the washing machine. Volunteers may have their own room, but if the project receives a special group they might have to share for a while.

Please bring small bills to the community; it is hard to find change sometimes.

What is included in the Peru program fee?

Construction & Renovation

The project requires an extra cost of $95 per each week.
This extra cost will go towards purchasing basic supplies, for example, brooms, paints and paint brushes.
The construction project is for a minimum of 5 participants arriving together.

Medical and Dental projects in Cusco

Require an administrative fee of U$110 for programs from 1 to 4 weeks;
U$ 220 for programs from 5 to 8 weeks;
U$ 330 for programs from 9 to 12 weeks.
This is a mandatory requirement to place a volunteer these programs and is added to the Program Fee.

Visas:

It is required to obtain a Volunteer Visa locally that costs US$ 250. Volunteers should state tourism on the arrival at the airport and the local team will take them to the immigration office on the next day to obtain their volunteer visas.
