I just found it incredibly interesting to see a totally different way of life. Most of the kids in NDC live in favelas. Their lives are totally different from mine, but they still have such a positive outlook on life.

I learned a lot from my students, both from a language standpoint and culturally as well. I hope that they feel the same.
