Additionally, it helps youth to gain leadership skills and discipline by becoming a part of a team, and building stronger bonds with their community.
Volunteer on the Ghana Sports Development Program
Since you will be working at local schools in rural villages, our football coaching volunteer program is great for sports fans and wannabe coaches alike.
As a volunteer on sports develpment in Ghana, you’ll work alongside the coaches of a young football team to help facilitate daily practices. On weekends, the soccer team will play matches, where you will assist the coach. Volunteers do not need to be professionals in sports, but rather have a passion and excitement for this sports program.
As a volunteer and assistant to the trainer, you will attend the weekend games, but you can also take a weekend off by appointment with our staff to take trips.
The sports program with football training is also great for combining it with another program such as childcare or school lessons. In this way, your days will be more varied, and you can also build stronger bonds with the community.
