Our volunteer programs in Argentina take place in Buenos Aires, a vibrant city in the heart of Latin America. The architecture with colonial influences from Europe, however, adds to the unique charm of Buenos Aires.

It is a breathtaking city full of street life: cafes, restaurants, draping flowers from the windows in spring and the residents (Porteños) who maintain their traditions, their humor and their pride in being Argentine.
Accommodation for the Volunteers in Buenos Aires
As a volunteer in Argentina, you live in a student residence, in a Parisian town house in the Recoleta district, in multi-bed rooms, but with privacy (individual lighting and curtains) and very comfortable large beds. Knowing how to make spaghetti bolognese is a lifesaver! The hostel has free WiFi and lockers.

Since there are always many students from other Spanish-speaking countries in the hostel, you can also practice your Spanish! After all, it is a lot of fun to spend time with people from other cultures! The hostel is close to Santa Die Fe Avenue, one of Buenos Aires main streets, the Abasto shopping center, supermarkets, ATMs and restaurants. Everything is at hand! The managers will do their best to make your stay at the hostel as pleasant as possible.
Start and duration of the volunteer projects in Buenos Aires
The projects in Buenos Aires start on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Therefore, as a volunteer in Argentina, you should arrive on Sundays.

You can work voluntarily between 2 and 24 weeks.
Orientation
The orientation takes place on Monday after the arrival date.
Requirements for volunteering in Argentina
You must be at least 18 years old when you start your internship. Exceptions can be made for under 18s accompanied by a guardian. You must also have adequate voluntary travel insurance. Upon arrival in Argentina or during admission, you will need to show a police certificate of good conduct.
Language Requirements
Basic knowledge of Spanish is desirable, but is not a prerequisite for your experience as a volunteer in Argentina. If you dont speak Spanish, we recommend that you take a very affordable Spanish course that our local team can arrange for you.
Safety
The team of social projects on site and the project managers accompany your volunteer work in Argentina and are available at any time with advice and action. There is always someone available in an emergency.
