If you are a more relaxed type, you can also take a stroll through the medieval, temple-lined cities or appreciate the beauty of the Himalayas from a spectacular viewpoint. You can even take a spiritual tour of one of the ancient temples spread across the Kathmandu Valley.

Volunteer in Nepal

There are plenty of options, from combing through Nepal’s national parks in search of rhinos and tigers, to crossing the country rafting, hiking or astride a motorbike.

However, you probably won’t be able to pack everything into one volunteer trip to Nepal. Many people come back year after year since they always find new treks through the Himalayan Mountains and new things to explore in the atmospheric temple towns of the Middle Hills.

Nepal is famous for its adventurous terrain and lovely ambiance, it has become the dream destination for volunteers who wish to make a permanent, positive change in the lives of the disadvantaged.
