Participants in our cheap Sri Lankan volunteer programs typically find $ 50 for weekly expenses in the country.

Start & duration
Our volunteer programs in Sri Lanka start every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, but we are flexible and can receive you on other days if necessary.

The Child Development and Art programs do not run in April, August and December.

During these months you can join the Childcare Orphanage program. Other projects are available all year round

You can work voluntarily between 1 and 12 weeks.
Accommodation and catering
We offer two different types of accommodation: in Watalla volunteers live in a three / double room in a holiday apartment, while in Galle and Badulla volunteers are accommodated in very hospitable families.

Both are great options and we are sure that you will have a fantastic time!

All meals are included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Volunteers who participate in the meditation program stay in the Buddhist monastery.
Arrival & orientation
All volunteers should meet at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport - CMB.

The airport pick-up service is included in your program fee. A representative will pick you up upon arrival.

Requirements for volunteering in Sri Lanka
Volunteers work 4 to 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.

You must be at least 18 years of age to start your program.

All volunteers must have adequate travel insurance.
Language requirements
All volunteer projects in Sri Lanka require at least intermediate English.
Security
As a volunteer in Sri Lanka, you will receive competent support and advice from the local team and project managers.

A member of the local team will always work with you on the projects.
