Make a difference and volunteer with community development in Argentina in our community projects.

Participate in different campaigns according to the needs

During the year, you will participate in various campaigns, depending on the needs of each community in Buenos Aires.

You participate as a volunteer in various activities that are important for the population. For example, you can help sort out clothes, food, books, toys that arrive as donations and supplies, and distribute them among the population.

In Buenos Aires we also offer a special internship where you can work as a volunteer in the kitchen of a restaurant for the needy – community feeding project.

You can also participate in children, youth and family projects, or help plan events for schools and communities.

Amazing Experience with Community Development – Nathan from USA

Amazing experience with some of the greatest people. The local coordinators and the local organization were perfect. We will carry these people and memories with us for the rest of our lives. Everything went smoothly and it was much cheaper than other organizations. I would highly recommend this program! My fiance and I will probably come back because the program and the people changed our lives so much. The local volunteer neighborhood invited us to the pool and to play soccer in their community. Once in a lifetime experience! – Nathan, Washington DC

Accommodation

As a volunteer in Argentina, you stay in a Student Hostel, in a student hostel, in a Recoleta Paris Style Townhouse, shared rooms, but with privacy (individual lights and curtains), and very comfortable big size beds.
It is self-catering with cooking facilities and equipment (knowing how to make a good Bolognese is a lifesaver!).

The hostel has free Wi-Fi and lockers. There are always many students from other Spanish speaking countries staying at the hostel, and you will be able to hang out with people from other cultures and to practice your Spanish too!

The hostel is close to Santa Fe Avenue, one of the main avenues in Buenos Aires, to the Shopping center Abasto, to supermarkets, ATMs, and restaurants. Everything

Everything will be at hand! The managers will do their best to make your stay at the Hostel as comfortable as possible.

Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old at the start of your placement. Exceptions can be made for under 18’s accompanied by a guardian or with a parental consent.

All volunteers must have adequate volunteer travel insurance and are required to provide a criminal background check to local staff on arrival in Argentina or during orientation.

Language Requirements

Knowledge of basic Spanish is desired but not a pre-requisite. If you do not know any Spanish, we recommend that you take advantage of a very affordable Spanish course that our local team can arrange for you.

Safety

You will have a competent support and advices from the local team and project leaders. Someone will always be available in the case of any emergency. Please keep in mind that you are in a different country and should take some precautions to avoid exposing yourself to certain risks.

The local coordinators will give you all the information to have a safe and unforgettable experience.
